Due to Karhula plant's specialization in deflection compensations rolls, the internal machining of long tubes was a core element of production. This includes internal boring as well as internal honing with the highest precision for getting the highest surface quality.
Due to the the extreme qualities of accuracy and surface quality of deflection compensation rolls requires its required to make an internal 3D measurment of the finely machined tube roll, over its entire length. This is a standard part of our quality control, which is always included in our scope of delivery.
